My husband and I have been collecting art and design with great passion for over 20 years.
Our understanding of aesthetics and quality has deepened over time, and our demands on selection have also increased.
Anyone who wants to surround themselves with beautiful things knows the problem: HOW AND WHERE do I find sophisticated art and design objects?

We asked ourselves this question around 20 years ago, after we had furnished our new apartment but were still missing essential elements such as carpets, pictures and accessories. But it is precisely these subtleties that make living comfortable, so we started the arduous search for home accessories.

Even back then, it was very important to us not to spend money on “just any” things, but we were looking for sophisticated “eye-catchers” that we still enjoy today.
This enthusiasm and a good and fine network of artists and designers, which has developed over the years, were crucial to the idea of ​​founding our online boutique "DESIGN FOYER".
