Collection: Irene Maria Ganser

Growing up in Linz, Upper Austria, IRENE MARIA GANSER discovered her creative talent at a young age. "It was always there," she says. As a child, she fell in love with the color gold, its warmth, its radiant optimism and its elegance - "I suspect that's why I like working with brass and bronze so much," says the artist.

As a student, she was drawn to the international design metropolises. She went to Paris to study design and fashion, and later moved to Milan, where she completed a master's degree in fashion design at the Instituto Marangoni. She also studied interior design at the renowned Politecnico di Milano.

Irene Maria Ganser started her career in the world-famous Milan studio Corso Como 10, founded by New York artist Kris Ruhs. In this fabulous creative space, she developed her passion for working with metal, working on jewelry, sculptures and art installations. Returning from Milan to Vienna, the artist & designer's talent attracted the attention of international brands, and Irene Maria Ganser designed on behalf of Siemens, Chopard and Alfa Romeo.

Irene Maria Ganser's tables are regularly shown at international design fairs, exhibitions and in the architecture press: Most recently, Dior Couture acquired a lounge table for its showroom in Forte dei Marmi. Three of her punto tables were selected for the VIP area of the Austrian pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai. The artist's tables were also exhibited at the PAD Geneva design fair. Her emilie side table was presented among the best designs of 2021 in the renowned architecture magazine AD France.

Nature is an important source of inspiration for her unique creations. In Vienna, the artist is also surrounded by the rich tradition of art foundry craftsmanship. Several of the world's most beautiful examples of metal architecture can be admired in the city. Irene Maria Ganser's personal favorite is the dome made of golden leaves of the Vienna Secession building.
