Collection: Armina Hatic

Armina Hatic is an artist who cannot be pigeonholed. Her works, such as paintings, drawings, photos, installations and sculptures, are like an endless playground for art. She does not have to look for a theme; themes simply force themselves upon her.

In painting, Armina Hatic developed a technique with which she layers transparent traces of life in large gestural paintings on paper and canvas.
She uses foam reliefs to give her paintings a sense of space. But that's still not enough for her. With considerable physical effort, she also incorporates meter-high, hand-bent metal objects into her work. An effort that also leaves her physically exhausted.

Armina Hatic is always finding new ways, materials and techniques to translate her view of the world and everything that surrounds it into art: critical, cheerful, often political and always convincing. Armina Hatic lives and works in Vienna.
