The story behind the Augarten champagne coupes:
Originally, King Louis XVI of France commissioned the creation of a cup in the shape of his wife, Queen Marie-Antoinette's, breast, from which to drink milk. Inspired by this, the renowned Augarten Porcelain Manufactory developed this exclusive coupe for enjoying champagne.

The noble gilding on the inside of the porcelain cup gives it a luxurious shine, makes the champagne's bubbles sparkle, and at the same time keeps the precious sparkling content refreshingly cool.
