This design classic was created by Carl Auböck II in the early 1950s. His friend, the renowned architect and Bauhaus co-founder Walter Gropius, personally used one of these beautiful paperweights as well.

The gentle curves of the pebble and the fine leather give the object a particularly pleasant tactile feel. The carefully selected pebbles are collected by Carl Auböck IV along the Danube; they are potentially millions of years old, which lends this accessory a particularly respectful beauty.
