This design classic was designed by Carl Auböck II in the early 1950s. His friend, the renowned architect and Bauhaus co-founder Walter Gropius, also personally used one of these beautiful paperweights.

The gentle curves of the pebble and the fine leather give the object a particularly pleasant feel . The carefully selected pebbles are collected by Carl Auböck IV on the Danube, they are probably millions of years old, which gives this accessory a particularly respectful beauty.
